Rachel Feinstein is a comedian known for her sharp wit and character-driven performances. Growing up just outside Washington D.C., she was raised in a unique household that fostered her comedic talents. Her father, a civil rights lawyer, and her mother, a blues musician, provided her with a perspective that combines a keen eye for both the absurd and the unjust. From a young age, Rachel developed her comedic style by opening for her father's blues band, performing impressions of her loud and eccentric relatives. Rachel gained national attention as a finalist on Season 7 of "Last Comic Standing," which helped propel her career in stand-up comedy. Her television appearances include "Russell Simmons Presents," "Live at the El Rey," "TBS's Just for Laughs series," and "Comics Unleashed." She also headlined her own "Comedy Central Presents" half-hour special, further showcasing her unique comedic voice. In addition to her stand-up work, Rachel has made significant contributions as a writer and voice actress. She has penned material for "The Onion" and "Heeb Magazine," and lent her voice to various characters on Adult Swim's "Venture Brothers" as well as Comedy Central's web series "Samurai Love God" and Spike TV's "Battle Pope." Her diverse talents also include appearances on VH1's "Jewtastic" and CNN's "Not Just Another Cable News Show." Rachel's comedic creativity extends to her hip hop reviews performed in the character of her Grandma, "Ice Cold Rhoda, World's Oldest Hater," which were featured on comedycentral.com and Hot 97's Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg show. Her international comedy experience is impressive, with performances at the Montreal Comedy Festival, Scotland's Glasgow Comedy Festival, Amsterdam's Comedy Factory, and a U.S. military tour in Korea. In film, Rachel has taken on supporting roles in the independent films "Circus Maximus" and "Peace After Marriage," the latter of which was showcased at the Tribeca Film Festival and received the Tribeca All Access Award. In 2011, she released her first comedy CD on Comedy Central Records, marking another milestone in her career as a versatile and dynamic comedian.
