Louis Katz, a native of Los Angeles, discovered his comedic talents at an impressively young age. His comedy career unofficially began at just 9 years old when he submitted jokes to "The Tonight Show." To his amazement, two of his jokes were read on air by the legendary Johnny Carson, setting the stage for his future in comedy.
Louis's pursuit of comedy continued when he moved to Northern California to attend the University of California, Berkeley. During his time there, he honed his craft as a writer and performer with the Theater Rice sketch comedy troupe. His experiences at UC Berkeley fueled his passion for stand-up comedy, and he soon began performing throughout the Bay Area, quickly establishing himself on the local comedy scene.
After graduating, Louis Katz transitioned into professional comedy, captivating audiences at clubs and colleges across the United States. His talent and dedication led to a successful year in 2005, when he showcased his humor at both the Montreal Comedy Festival and Atlanta's "Laffapalooza" Comedy Festival. That same year, he made his television debut on "Last Call with Carson Daly," marking his arrival on the national comedy stage (not factoring in his earlier appearance on "The Judge Joe Brown Show").
Today, Louis Katz continues to entertain audiences with his unique comedic voice, solidifying his reputation as a noteworthy figure in the world of stand-up comedy.
